Camp Spearhead End of Summer Update
Our 2008 summer camp session was truly amazing. Campers participated in a variety of activities including crafts, square dancing, canoeing, hiking, bowling, horseback riding, singing camp songs, taking hot air balloon rides and most important, cultivating lifelong friendships.
Thanks go out to everyone who made our summer so successful.
The campers and their families.  Our staff. It was an honor to work with each of them. All of the volunteers from church groups to individuals who shared their time. We also thank the folks at Eden Farms, Wade Hampton Bowl, Steve Lambert of Skyscapes America hot air balloon rides, Pistol and Beacon the Clowns and our EMT’s from Med Shore.
Our Fall Weekend Program is posted on the website.
There are lots of exciting events scheduled.
We hope to see you there!
Thank you,
Randy, Kelly & Marty

MISSION
The mission of Camp Spearhead is to improve the quality of life for youth and adults with disabilities by providing opportunities for growth through quality recreation and to support their families and caregivers by providing respite from their daily responsibilities.

CAMPSITE
Currently Spearhead leases a 178 acre site filled with beautiful natural features including a 5 acre lake, mountain streams, and small waterfalls. We have five cabins for male campers and four cabins for female campers. All cabins are air conditioned.

Additional buildings include a dining hall that seats 100, activities building with a stage for skits and performing arts, and an arts & crafts building.

Spearhead is in the process of building a new campsite which will bring improved accessibility and increased capacity. Please find out more about the progress of the construction as well as the Capital Campaign by going to the Campaign page.
